Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Tanmar Events Shanghai Limited ("Tanmar Events", "we") handles personal information when you visit tanmar.cn.
What we collect
The website currently has no sign-up, login, comment or subscription feature and does not ask you for any personal information.
Server logs: to keep the site secure, our server automatically records the time of access, IP address, browser type and the page requested.
Anonymous visit statistics: for each page view the site records the page address, the referring site, the device type (phone or computer) and the city, worked out from the IP address offline on our own server. We do not store IP addresses or use cookies; the visitor marker changes every day, so it cannot follow anyone across days or reveal who you are. Nothing is recorded when your browser sends Do Not Track.
Correspondence: if you contact us by the email address or phone number published on the site, we receive the name, contact details and message you choose to send.
How we use it
Server logs are used only for security, troubleshooting and preventing attacks, and visit statistics only to see which content people find useful; neither is used to identify or profile individual visitors. Correspondence is used only to reply to you, discuss projects and perform any resulting contract. We do not use your information for purposes you have not agreed to.
Where it is kept and for how long
Information is stored on servers in mainland China (Alibaba Cloud, Shanghai) and is not transferred abroad. Server logs are kept for six months and visit statistics for thirteen months; correspondence for three years after the project or conversation ends. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
Sharing and processors
We never sell or rent personal information. Alibaba Cloud hosts our servers and Tencent Exmail provides our email service; both are required to protect your information as the law requires. We do not otherwise share your information unless the law requires it or you agree.
Your rights
You may access, copy, correct, complete or delete your personal information and withdraw consent. Email info@tanmar.cn and we will respond within fifteen working days.
Children
The website is intended for businesses and professionals, not for children under fourteen.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS; the content system is protected by individual accounts, permissions and activity records. If a personal information incident occurs, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes
If we add any feature that collects personal information (such as an enquiry form), we will update this policy and publish the new version here first.
